David N. Tolces is an associate with the firm since 2001. David concentrates his practice in governmental, real estate, and general corporate matters, as well as general probate and landlord/tenant matters. Mr. Tolces divides his time between the firm's Fort Lauderdale and Delray Beach offices.
Currently Mr. Tolces represents many of the firm's governmental clients in assisting them on a daily basis with issues related to community redevelopment, affordable housing, land use planning, environmental permitting, annexation, and other property related matters. In addition to providing general legal services to all of the firm's clientele, Mr. Tolces is General Counsel for the City of Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency, and the Lake Worth Community Redevelopment Agency.
Mr. Tolces also serves as Assistant General Counsel for the Hillsboro Inlet District, the South Florida Regional Planning Council, and the Broward County Housing Authority.
Mr. Tolces is a member of the Florida Bar, the Palm Beach and Broward County Bar Associations, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Mr. Tolces is an active member of the State of Florida Board of Directors and the South Coastal Division for the Children's Home Society, the Boca Raton Roundtable, and the Rotary Club of Delray Beach - Sunrise.
Prior to joining Goren, Cherof, Doody & Ezrol, Mr. Tolces was an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Delray Beach
