Jacob G. Horowitz is an associate at Goren, Cherof, Doody & Ezrol, P.A.

Mr. Horowitz concentrates primarily on local government matters, serving as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Pembroke Pines, the City of Tamarac, and the City of North Lauderdale, among other municipalities in Broward County and Palm Beach County. He currently serves as the Assistant General Counsel for the North Broward Hospital District and the Broward League of Cities, and was the former Assistant General Counsel for the Broward County Charter Review Commission and the Brevard County Charter Review Commission.

Mr. Horowitz represents many of the firm's governmental clients assisting on a daily basis with matters relating to the Sunshine Law, ethics, public records, elections law, and general governance matters. He has represented clients before the Florida Commission on Ethics and regularly lectures on the Sunshine Law and general ethics matters.

Mr. Horowitz currently serves as the legal advisor to the City of Tamarac Code Enforcement Board, the City of Pembroke Pines Economic Development Board, the City of Pembroke Pines Green City Advisory Board, the City of Lighthouse Point Code Enforcement Board, the City of Oakland Park Unsafe Structures Board, and the City of Oakland Park Planning & Zoning Board among other municipal boards and committees. He further serves as municipal prosecutor for a number of the firm's clients.
